In Creative Arts, students explore a rich variety of art forms, including drama, music, photography and digital media, visual design and visual arts. Through these subjects, students learn to appreciate, create, compose, listen, perform and express themselves. Each discipline offers unique skills, concepts and experiences that inspire imagination and enrich students’ lives.
Years 7–10
Students complete 100 hours each of Music and Visual Arts during Years 7 to 10. Throughout these foundational years, they also have opportunities to extend their skills by choosing elective subjects such as:
- Visual Arts
- Visual Design
- Photography and Digital Media
- Music
- Drama
These electives allow students to deepen their creativity and develop confidence in a range of artistic practices.
Years 11–12
In the senior years, students can select from a broad range of Creative Arts courses that cater to their interests, talents and future pathways. These courses encourage advanced skill development, critical thinking and artistic expression.
