Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE)

A Community of Learners, A World of Opportunities

At our school, we believe that education goes beyond the classroom. Our Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) program empowers students to grow into healthy, confident, and socially responsible young people. Through PDHPE, students explore important issues that affect their health, safety, and wellbeing—both now and in the future—while building the skills and mindset needed to thrive in life.

Students in Years 7 to 10 are expected to participate in 300 hours of PDHPE per year, providing them with a rich and balanced learning experience. The program offers a variety of engaging and challenging physical activities, helping students improve their coordination, movement skills, and overall fitness. Beyond physical development, PDHPE fosters leadership, teamwork, and collaboration, giving students the confidence to contribute positively to their community.

By combining practical health education with enjoyable physical challenges, PDHPE encourages students to make informed choices, stay active, and develop lifelong habits that support wellbeing. Our students leave the program not only physically capable but also socially aware, resilient, and ready to embrace the opportunities of a rapidly changing world.
