Inspire – High potential and gifted education (HPGE)
Enrichment by the Seaside
Ready to ‘Inspire’ – Our ‘Brilliance at Bulli’ Program is Ahead of the Game
Bulli High School and The DoE’s ‘Inspire’ Initiative
The Department of Education rolled out the Inspire Program relatively recently. It set out an approach to HPGE whereby schools should bring all their HPGE offerings together under the one umbrella. Specifically, the DoE states:
“All public schools in NSW are now embedding HPGE in their teaching practices and co-curricular activities, with a range of new programs tailored to each school, such as enrichment streams, extension opportunities and STEM programs.
The Inspire program brings together all schools’ high potential and gifted offerings under one banner, shared on school websites, giving parents and carers easy access to information about the opportunities available at their local school.” - DoE Ministerial Media Release 2nd March 2026.
What is particularly exciting at Bulli High School is that we consider ourselves to be well and truly on the front foot regarding the aims of Inspire program. Below you should be able to clearly see how Bulli High School is catering to HPGE students and continuing to evolve our ‘Brilliance at Bulli’ Program.
